 Sexual Reproduction in Plants

❋Plants are living organisms. As a result they need to produce in order to pass on their genes to future generation.

❋Plans can reproduce sexually and asexually. However the majority is sexual reproduction. The flower is the reproductive part of plant. both male(stamens/pollen) and female(pistils/stigma) gametes are produce by flower. The complete flower typically consists of four parts.
                                                            1.petal
                                                            2.sepals
                                                            3.stamen
                                                            4.pistil


✻ A flower may contain of either stamen or pistil or both.as a result a flower can be either unisexual or bisexual.

✻A bisexual flower  has all four parts mentioned above.(petal/sepals/stamen/pistil)
e.g. Rose
✻papaya and cucumber produce only unisexual flowers.
